THE
WORD 'RAPTURE' ISN'T FOUND IN THE BIBLE?
When
the Bible was translated into Latin in the 4th century, the Latin
word used for "caught up" is RAPTERE, "to seize,
snatch, tear away, "which is where we get the term "Rapture."
In the Greek translation of the Bible, the word is "harpazo,"
which means to seize, catch away, pluck, pull, take by force. In
English it's "caught up."

THE
PURPOSE OF THE TRIBULATION, Daniel 9:24-27
Daniel
prophesied the last seven years of the age. He said they are decreed:
.
"upon thy people" -which is the Jews
.
"upon thy holy city" - which is Jerusalem. NOT upon the
church.
THE
TIMING OF THE RAPTURE
1.Church
goes missing in the Book of Revelation
The
first 3 chapters of the Book of Revelation are ALL ABOUT THE CHURCH.
From
chapter 4 on, the church is gone. Why would the church go through the
"time of Jacob's trouble?"
2.Comfort
one another
Some
say the Rapture won't take place before the Tribulation. If that were
true, no way could we "comfort" one another. Jesus said the
Tribulation will be the worst, the most horrible time the earth has
ever known or ever will. You can't comfort one another if that were
the case.
3.The
Sequence as shown in Isaiah 26:
First
the resurrection:
vs 19: "Your dead shall live; together with my dead body they shall arise. Awake and sing, you who dwell in dust; for your dew is like the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead."

the Rapture
vs 20:"Come, my people, enter your chambers, and shut your doors behind you; hide yourself, as it were, for a little moment, until the indignation is past."

WHO
IS THE RESTRAINER?
"He
who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way."

Body of Christ is the one restraining evil.

Body of Christ is to occupy until Jesus comes.

If the Body of Christ weren't here, the whole world would be gay and

babies under a global government, and all wickedness would

free reign without any restraint whatsoever.
THE
LAST TRUMP
There
are two FUNCTIONS of Trumpets:
1.
the Trumpet call to war
2.
the Trumpet call to assembly
3.
the Trumps of judgment
The
seven trumps of the Book of Revelation are trumps of angels,
trumps
of judgment.
The
trump of Corinthians is not a trump of judgment;
. it
is not a trump of angels;
. it
is the Trump of God;
. it
is a trump of assembly.
When
Jesus comes with the Trump of God, it is the call to assembly.

TYPES
1. As
in the days of Noah.
The
world situation was one of violence and perversion. Noah preached
righteousness while building the ark then entered the ark of safety.
The world all perished.
2. As
in the days of Lot.
The
world situation was perversion. God sent angels to bring Lot and his
family out BEFORE destroying Sodom and Gomorrah.
3.
Enoch, a gentile picture of the Rapture. He was taken before the
flood.

David MacPherson wrote a book trying to disprove “the Rapture” by
accusing John Nelson Darby of getting the idea from a prophecy by
Margaret MacDonald. That is a lie.

John Darby wrote about the Rapture years before meeting her.

John Darby said the Rapture was revealed to him when he saw in the
Scriptures the distinction between Israel and the church, two
distinct dispensations.
4.
After meeting Margaret MacDonald, he said what was going on there was
"demonic."
5.
Margaret MacDonald's position was POST-trib.
